After graduating from the
Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) in year 2010 with B.Com., LL.B. (Hons.),
the author pursued LL.M. in Business Laws from the Gujarat University. While
pursuing LL.M., he simultaneously gained experience as an Associate at the
esteemed Chambers of Mr. Sunit S. Shah, Former Government Pleader and Public
Prosecutor for the State of Gujarat. Upon conclusion of his LL.M. in year 2012,
he continued to practice law as an Associate to Mr. Shah till the year 2015.
In the year 2015, the author set
up a sole-proprietorship law-firm with a multi-faceted legal practice on the
original and appellate sides of the High Court of Gujarat as well as Trial
Courts of Ahmedabad. He has several reported judgments to his credit. Besides his
practice in litigation in courts and arbitral tribunals, the author has also
handled litigations before quasi-judicial bodies like the court of the Special
Secretary, Revenue (Disputes), Consumer Disputes Redressal Fora and Revenue
Tribunals. He has also served on the panel of Legal Aid Services of the Gujarat
High Court providing his expertise to the needy. His professional experience
also includes non-litigation work of drafting and conveyancing.
Besides practice of law, the
author seeks to contribute to the field at a higher level by deducing practical
and complex aspects of legal practice into simple writings that can expertly
guide ordinary litigants and counsel trained legal veterans on how to handle
their briefs while dealing with sensitive issues like matrimony and
child-custody.
He is an author of
the book ‘Hindu Law of Divorce, Maintenance and child Custody’, 2022 Edn
(Law& Justice Publing Co, New Delhi)
