Dr. Ashutosh

Dr. Ashutosh, B.Sc. (Hons.) Zoology, LL.M, PH.D., was born on 09th July 1963 and is an Advocate by profession. He is practicing since 1987 in diverse fields in different Courts and has been appearing right up to Hon’ble Supreme Court as well as before different Forums and Tribunals etc. He has been also part of Guest Faculty in University of Delhi in Law Centre II, w.e.f. 2005, besides having taught Law in IP University as well. He has authored Various publications On Law and allied Subjects

He is known for handling cases under the Customs Act, 1962, Foreign Exchange Violations and GST Act, 2017 as well as Prevention Detention Writs, more particularly, those falling under the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974 and Prevention of Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. Many of his judgments on these subjects, involving important questions of law, are reported in different Journals. He studied Law at the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in 1987. Thereafter, he did his LL.M and PH.D., while remaining engaged in the legal profession, from University of Delhi itself.
