Dr. Abhishek Sharma Padmanabhan , an Assistant Professor of Law, is a distinguished scholar and expert in the intersection of Law and Forensic Science. With a robust academic background and extensive professional experience. Dr. Abhishek has made significant contributions to both fields.

Born and raised in Hyderabad and Bangalore, Dr. Abhishek, developed a keen interest in law from an early age. Pursuing his passion, he obtained a Bachelor''s degree in Law from Karnataka State Law University, where he excelled academically by securing 3rd Rank and demonstrated exceptional analytical skills.

Driven by a desire to deepen his understanding of the legal system and the legal research, Dr. Abhishek went on to pursue a Master''s Degree in Law at Bangalore University and secured 1 st Rank and a Gold Medal. During his post graduate studies, he specialized in Constitutional Law, Administrative Laws and Criminal Justice, laying the groundwork for his future expertise in the field.

After completing his Post Graduate Studies in Law, Dr. Abhishek pursued a Ph.D. in Law, focusing on the Evidentiary value of DNA Profiling Technique, Particularly in Criminal investigations and Courtoom proceedings. His  doctoral research delved into the intricacies of relevancy and admissibility of DNA Profiling Evidence in Criminal Trials, laying the groundwork for his future contributions to the field

Driven by a passion for education and research, Dr. Abhishek transitioned into academia and is currently associated with School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore as an Assistant Professor of Law. Here, he embarked on a journey of scholarly exploration, delving into the intricate nuances of Forensic law, Criminal procedure, and the Legal implications of Forensic Evidence in Legal proceedings.

His research endeavours have yielded  ground-breaking insights into the challenges and opportunities at the intersection of law and forensics. His research publications in leading academic journals have garnered widespread acclaim, contributing to the advancement of both fields and shaping policy discussions on the standards and practices relating to Law and Forensic Science
